The First Night

Service Description

The first night after surgery is the one you don't want to face alone. We're there for all of it. Your clinically trained companion picks you up from the surgery center, gets you safely home, and settles you in — pillows, water, phone, meds, everything within reach — before you ever have to think about it. Then we stay. Up to 12 hours of attentive overnight care: a warm, fresh meal, comfort checks, medication reminders, help moving safely to and from the bathroom, hydration, and a calm presence through the tender early hours. Your companion is a BLS-certified senior nursing student, trained to recognize the difference between normal healing and a problem — and to call your surgeon fast if anything looks off. What's included: • Pickup and safe transport home from your surgery center • Home recovery setup so everything you need is within reach • Up to 12 hours of overnight comfort monitoring • 1 chef-prepared recovery meal (or provide your own) • Medication reminders and hydration support • Help moving safely and getting comfortable • Morning check-in before we go Light housekeeping and pharmacy trips included. Our staff is skilled enough to know what healthy recovery looks like. Warm enough to make that first night feel easy. We recognize and escalate — we don't do wound care, drains, or medications; those stay with your surgeon.
